Job Summary:To develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
Duties and responsibilities
– Handle contact with all media, publications and online media.
– Assist in plan and develop promotional and communications strategies via internet, GDS, media, placement of advertising as directed, printed materials and other sales & promotional tools as directed.
– Responsible for advertising and recording the media impression target for the hotel.
– Oversee management of online channels to optimize the hotels position and rate placement to drive revenues, though packages, promotions for B2C websites.
– Oversee website management to include updating of Hotel information, photography and promotions through: Hotel branded website/ Facebook/ Third party website/ Supplier websites to maximize opportunities for media impressions for local promotions/ events.
– Demonstrate effective communication in promoting hotel products & service. Develop PR strategy and specific tactics to drive PR campaigns for specific promotions, products and services.
– Maintain a media lists according to the hotel’s feeder markets – travel, consumer, business (electronic and print).
– Maintain hotel press kits with up-to-date fact sheets on hotel, senior executives, brand information, promotions.
– Utilize editorial calendars of major media to proactively contribute news. Co-ordinate media activities and releases for hotel activities and brand programs.
– Manage the tracking report of media impressions.
– Prepare a quarterly media impressions report.
– Develop presentations (speeches/power point/video interviews) for senior management (for speaking engagements, conferences, interviews, etc). Assist food & beverage department in coordinating food promotions requiring international impute eg. Chefs, sponsorships, prizes etc.
– Responsible for the placement of the hotel
